chapter-13If you’re not eligible to file chapter 7 because your income exceeds the median income for your size family, than chapter 13 may be an option.

Chapter 13 allows you to repay your debts over a 5 year period.

If you’re behind on your mortgage and you file a chapter 13, the bank will not be able to foreclose on your house and you will be able to pay the arrearage back over a period of five years.
